Hi, I’m Ben and I am a Sport and Exercise Psychologist (in training), working towards HCPC registration via the BASES pathway. I spent 4 years at Loughborough University completing my BSc and MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology, proudly achieving a distinction in my MSc. I have completed research projects on fear of failure and the imposter syndrome in athletes, whilst also previously investigating motivational attributes in endurance sports. I have up-to-date safeguarding and mental health first aid certificates, and I am actively pursuing further opportunities to continue to my advance my development as an effective practitioner.
I work with athletes of all levels, providing 1-1 support alongside delivering group workshops to teams and organisations, with specific experience in cricket and golf. I enjoy tailoring my support to the needs of the group, presenting psychological concepts in a relatable and accessible way. On a personal level, I have always played football and cricket, but I take a keen interest in just about anything sport-related! I am very passionate about sport psychology and I’m excited to continue to help athletes thrive not only as performers, but as people too.
