I am a sport and exercise psychologist and researcher in the final months of my accredited training, where on completion I will be eligible for HCPC registration. With over four years' experience psychologically supporting adolescent and youth athletes across a range of sports, performance levels, and cultures, my passions for holistically supporting young individuals greatly aligns with the work of t2i. My approach to working as a sport psychologist is grounded within helping people thrive. That is, I use evidence-based strategies and techniques to help people achieve and sustain both high-performance and wellbeing when playing sport. This is of particular importance to youth athletes, who are often navigating various developmental transitions and challenges both within and outside of their sport. In my career, I have had the privilege of providing psychological support to a variety of professional organisations, including elite sports academies, national governing bodies, and higher education institutions.
