Hello I’m Marie. I have always enjoyed chasing outcomes. First as an ex-elite track athlete who then embraced a corporate legal career in the City of London. However, my first love was sport, so I swapped suits and heels for tracksuits and trainers and a career in sport just before the global financial crisis of 2008. Retrained as a sports therapist first, I have worked at major events like World Championships and Ironman races. I am an experienced clinician within MDTs.
My wish to explore the influence of the mind on performance led me to head back to university to study Sport & Exercise Psychology (and currently on the BASES route). I now draw from my psychology, clinical, legal, and sporting backgrounds to examine and design strategies to drive change and enhance individual, team and business performance. My role is to help people achieve their intended goals, and, at grassroots it is to design and deliver social impact projects to drive positive change within marginalised communities. I hold an array of coaching qualifications including World Athletics Sprints coaching, Freediving instructor, PT, Spinning instructor, Boxercise instructor. I am also a Trustee of the Personal Best Foundation, and I am on the Inclusion Advisory Board of the Manchester FA. I am Manchester-based.
